My favorite subjects in High School were History and World Geography. I always enjoyed reading about the history of the Greeks and the Greek mythology. I was fascinated by the ancient buildings, and many wonders of the world, I hoped to see them some day. Writing never came easy for me, my grammar and my ideas were all out of order. I hated writing essays. During the beginning of class one day, my English teacher asked me to write an essay on how much I hate writing essays. She made me read it to the class and the class gave feedback. Essays were what you did in college, and I wasn’t going to college. I barely graduated from high school in June 2000.
After my first semester in college, I decided to take a vacation. I wanted to see the Roman Colosseum before I died. With the money I saved from my benefits I had around 3,000 dollars. I bought a round trip plane ticket to London, England for one month because it was cheaper to fly there, and I later decided to live homeless for a week in Rome, Barcelona, and Paris. It was a great trip. I never thought someone like me would be able to take a trip like this. This was one of my biggest accomplishments – being able to do something I had always dreamed about.
